Chinese actress Fan Bingbing was seen going on a trip to the US with her fiancé, Chinese actor Li Chen, last week (May 29), and was said to be accompanying the actor on his work trip to film upcoming Chinese movie Seven Days.At that time, Li Chen shared that Bingbing was tagging along because she wanted to clear her mind after getting

caught up in a tax evasion scandal recently.

Insiders reveal that the couple’s trip costed a fortune, as they lived in their hotel’s presidential suite, and splurged on branded bags. Besides that, they also boarded a helicopter for a tour of the Grand Canyon and spent US$15 million (approximately S$20 million) in casino chips.

According to media reports, Bingbing has since returned to Beijing on June 6, but refused media interviews about the scandal and was in a low mood. She was also said to have blamed Chinese director Feng Xiaogang, whose movie Cell Phone was the reason Chinese host Cui Yong Yuan accused her over Weibo, for not resolving the issue before it blew up.

While currently under investigation for said offence, it is reported that Bingbing intends to give the 2018 Vision Youth Awards, held on June 8 in Beijing a miss, despite being previously announced to be one of the stars gracing the event.
