Evergreen Mak Says He’s Happier After Leaving TVB As He Was Ill-Treated By Some People There
“What’s the point in holding a grudge? Karma will get them,” he shared.
But all this came crashing down when the 51-year-old was unwittingly dragged into a Ponzi scheme orchestrated by his friend, which you can read about here. According to Evergreen, the company had decided to reduce his workload drastically because of the scandal. Things got so dire that he decided to leave the company last year.
Since then, Evergreen became an artiste with ViuTV, where the actor shares that he's been given more opportunities in both acting and variety show projects. He is also trying his hand at script writing. Although his script is still a work in progress, he hopes that ViuTV will consider turning his work into a drama when it is complete.
