Two years ago, Taiwanese singer Elva Hsiao announced that she would be going on hiatus to focus on her health, which had suffered due to her packed work schedule. She later revealed that she was suffering from severe bronchitis, and that that she will put her career on hold while she recovers.

Although there is still no news with regards to the singer’s showbiz comeback, Elva makes sure to update her fans using her Instagram account, posting pictures and short videos once in a blue moon.

On Chinese Valentine’s Day, which falls on August 7, Elva updated her Instagram with a selfie. “Good morning! Remember I love You All.(sic),” she wrote. However, a number of fans suspected that the picture might have been taken two years ago, as it resembles a series of photos that Elva posted when she was in Los Angeles two years ago.

She later uploaded another picture with the words “Elva”, a heart shape and “Mommy”.

“You are always my favourites valentines (sic),” she wrote, confessing her love to her mother on Chinese Valentine’s Day.
