Derek Tsang, Venus Wong’s dreamy forest wedding in pictures

Hong Kong actors Derek Tsang and Venus Wong tied the knot in Kairuizawa, Japan.

The lovebirds, who have been dating for six years, announced the good news on their respective Instagram accounts on September 6. Venus first posted a picture of Derek lifting her up in a forest on her Instagram, along with a picture of what looks to be matching tattoos on their hands.

"06.09.2019 #DVMMXIX,” she wrote in her caption. The hashtag is believed to be made up of the couple’s initials, as well as the date of their wedding in roman numerals. Soon after, Derek posted the same two pictures on his Instagram page, along with the caption, “Just got hitched!! Many thanks to all our friends and reporters for their blessings and concern! Thank you to everyone who wished us well! (I’m) grateful!”

Pictures of the couple’s dreamy forest wedding soon started popping up on Instagram as well, as their celebrity guests started uploading pictures taken at the couple’s nuptials.

In an interview with the media after announcing their marriage, Venus debunked the rumours that she is currently pregnant. She also shared that she will return to Hong Kong after the wedding for work, and that the couple does not have any plans for a honeymoon.

According to the 27-year-old, the newlyweds are in no hurry to start a family, and prefer to focus on their work for the time being.
