We’ve heard a lot about people going to great lengths for the ‘gram, but nothing quite tops this.

Chinese-American actor Daniel Wu got back into archery about a month ago, and wanted to record a video of himself practicing. He shared: “Yesterday I decided to film some of my shooting to see what that would look like. I set the phone up on top of the hay bale thinking ‘There’s no way I would hit this...even if I tried’.”

Well, turns out that he needn’t have tried so hard as he shot an arrow straight into his phone from over 27 meters away. The arrow narrowly missed his iPhone’s lens, and he brought his phone (with arrow still stuck in it) back home.

Daniel continued, “What’s even more incredible is that the phone still works! Half the screen is toast but I can still make and receive calls and if I do a combination of verticals and horizontal movements I can send and receive texts!”
