While many people have chosen to stay home to reduce the risk of exposing themselves to COVID-19, Hongkong stars Chow Yun Fat and Carina Lau have been opting to keep fit by going hiking.

On Thursday (Apr 23), Carina uploaded photos of her and the 64-year-old movie legend after they completed their 22km trek at the MacLehose Trail in Hongkong. Yes, that's the same place Carina ran into some wild cattle and got criticised for petting them last year.
“Thank you for introducing me to this hobby which has been beneficial for my body and mind. Today we set a new record, half-running and half-walking for 22km. Now that I’m home, I feel like my legs don't belong to me anymore,” Carina joked on IG.
Turns out, Yun Fat was the one who introduced Carina to the sport back in 2014. Now, the 54-year-old actress often documents her own treks, which also allows her to show her followers the beauty of Hongkong’s countryside.

And Carina never forgets to thank Fat Gor for bringing this new hobby into her life.
“Thank you Fat Gor for guiding me in hiking these five years. I still remember what you said to me at that time — 'People who climb mountains will be as happy as gods. It is also beneficial to our health, makes us look younger, and it’s really rewarding.' The best thing about hiking with Fat Gor is that after we’re done, he would take us to have some cheap, authentic Hongkong food,” wrote Carina on IG last June.
