Cho Jung Seok, Gummy are married

Korean singer Gummy (real name Park Ji Yeon) and actor Cho Jung Seok have tied the knot after five years of dating.

The good news was confirmed on Monday (Oct 8) by their respective agencies, who revealed that the couple had a small ceremony with only their family members in attendance. Gummy's agency C-JeS Entertainment also shared a few photos from their pre-wedding shoot, which were taken on Jeju Island in July.

During an appearance on an episode of variety show Hidden Singer on Sunday (Oct 7), Gummy was asked by the hosts, “I heard that there’ll be good news in the fall,” to which she replied, “My solo concert tour will start on October 6.” She then revealed that she was “getting married”, to the delight of the audience.

Gummy and Jung Seok have been dating since 2013, but they only went public with their relationship in 2015. In July this year, their respective agencies confirmed that the lovebirds will be getting hitched in a private ceremony in autumn.
