So. Many. Rules.

China Issues New Guidelines Banning 15 Types Of Behaviour For Celebs; Lip-Syncing Not Allowed
Broadcast regulations in China have been tightened numerous times over the past couple of years. With all the uncertainty around what’s allowed and what’s not, the China Association Of Performing Arts issued a list of 15 prohibited types of behaviour for celebs, along with the possible ramifications that stars will face for breaking the rules.

There’s no word on whether blacklisted celebs such as Fan Bingbing (tax evasion), Zheng Shuang (having children born via surrogacy) and Kai Ko (drug abuse) will also be evaluated for their past misdeeds according to the new rules.

The code of conduct, which was published on February 5, had “Harming national unity, sovereignty and integrity, along with endangering national security, harming national honour and interests” on the top of the list. Second and third on the list is “Inciting ethnic hatred, discrimination, going against ethnic customs and undermining ethnic unity” and “Violating religious policies and promoting cults and/or superstitions”.
