Charlene Choi would rather lose love than money

Charlene Choi and Vincci Cheuk gave an interview on a radio station in Hong Kong on May 30 to promote their upcoming stage play, in which Charlene plays a woman whose other half toys with her feelings.

However, Charlene admitted that in real life, she would rather be cheated in love than cheated out of her hard-earned money. “Of course, I would be sad if it were a 20-year relationship, but it were just five years, I would just let it go,” she shrugged.

The singer-actress then revealed that she is quite afraid of being asked to lend money to people, and that there was one person who even tried asking for a seven-digit sum. “Thankfully, everyone who has ever borrowed money from me has returned it eventually,” she said.
