Charity Sale Of Alien Huang’s Belongings Raises S$39K But Scalpers Almost Ruin Event For Fans
Journos spotted dubious-looking transactions taking place outside the venue. Terrible.
The family of the late Alien Huang held a charity sale of his personal belongings in Taipei last Saturday (Oct 3) and the event was met with an overwhelming turnout. At least 2,000 people showed up to get their hands on a number tag that would allow them to shop, but not everyone was successful as only 600 of these valuable passes were given out.
In an interview with the local media, Alien’s manager Dino said he felt bad that there was such a limited number of items for sale. “After all, he was only one person, so 600 items is actually considered quite a lot,” he said, adding that Alien’s father kept some of the more valuable things for himself, while the late star’s younger sister Huang Ting Ting inherited the Rolex watch that was a gift from their dad.
