Hongkong actor Chapman To has been busy preparing for his upcoming stand-up comedy shows, which are set to take place early next month. However, he was recently forced to tweak the programme in light of new government regulations stipulating that for all live performances, only 50 per cent of the venue’s full seating capacity may be filled. This is to ensure that there will be safe distancing ‘cos, you know, COVID-19 and all.
The 48-year-old made the announcement about the update on his socials on Thursday (Oct 15). Under the new arrangements, six more shows will be added so that the half of the audience that won’t be allowed into the venue on their original ticket date will be able to attend an additional performance the following week. Alternatively, they may apply for a full refund until the end of the month.
