Cecilia Cheung Slammed For Off-Key Singing At Event
The star said she was unwell and didn't rehearse her performance.
Hongkong star Cecilia Cheung has been very busy lately. Not long after she travelled to China to shoot a few commercials that allegedly bagged her a whopping S$5.2mil, the 40-year-old returned to the country to perform at an event in Guangzhou last Saturday (Dec 26).
Unfortunately, it seems she wasn’t in the best state to be singing. Although Ceci received an enthusiastic welcome from the audience when she emerged on stage, things quickly became awkward as soon as she opened her mouth to perform her classic song ‘Xing Yu Xin Yuan’ (‘Wish Upon A Star’).
