The late Cantopop diva Anita Mui wasn’t just an iconic superstar beloved by fans all over the world — she was also very popular among her fellow artists for being a great person.

Recently, Hongkong actress-host Carol Cheng (aka Dodo Cheng) opened up about some of her past experiences with Anita, who died of cervical cancer at age 40 over 17 years ago, on her radio show When I Was Young I Listen To The Radio.

In addition to describing Anita as “a very sensible person”, Carol also revealed that the two of them were “from very different worlds”. That's because when it's Carol's bedtime, Anita would be out with a group of people just to eat and have fun. “She was a very loyal person and I really admired her," said Carol.
