J-pop queen Ayumi Hamasaki dropped a bombshell in November last year, when she revealed that she’s now a mother. The 41-year-old confirmed that she gave birth at the end of 2019.

However, as she had been working constantly throughout the year, with no breaks in between, many wondered how the singer had managed to keep her pregnancy a secret for so long.

Since then, Ayumi has not shared any further information about her bundle of joy, nor the identity of her baby daddy, who was not mentioned in her initial announcement at all.

However, that did not stop the rumour mill from churning, with multiple reports speculating about his identity being published in the weeks after her announcement.

Now, it appears that the media has settled on one particular individual — a dancer who’s said to be 20 years younger than Ayumi.

The couple was spotted on a date at a high-end sushi restaurant last June. After their meal, they even left holding hands, with couple rings their couple rings clearly visible.

According to industry insiders, Ayumi’s baby daddy has always held a torch for the singer. In July 2018, he became an exclusive dancer for Ayumi, cementing their relationship.

Ayumi was previously married to Austrian actor Manuel Schwarz from 2011 to 2012, and later to an American medical student named Tyson Bodkin from 2013 to 2016.
