Andy Lau is not just one of the Heavenly Kings. As it turns out, the 59-year-old Hongkong star, who is frequently praised for being hardworking and professional, is also the king of chao keng.

Recently, a 2003 interview that Andy gave on Chinese talk show A Date With Luyu made the rounds online. In the clip, the multi-hyphenate revealed that he, like everyone, had his fair share of defiant days when he was starting out. When he wanted to get out of filming or a role that he didn’t want, he would pretend to be sick.
