Andy Lau losing weight for new film

Andy Lau appeared to have a lost a lot of weight when he attended the 25th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards on March 7, but he assured everyone that he is fine. "I'm in good physical condition now! This look is for my new film," he explained.

The singer-actor was then asked about the status of his application to perform at the Hong Kong Coliseum, to which he revealed that he will only know the results in the middle of this month. As for his thoughts on a recent case of a Chinese company illegally using his photos to promote their products, he declined from commenting as it is still in the midst of legal proceedings.

Andy also shared his thoughts on Chow Yun Fat's recent filming injury that had him needing to go for five stitches. "I've always known him as an actor who is dedicated to his work, and who also strives to create a comfortable environment and atmosphere for others on set," he said. "Although I'm not a new artiste myself, I am considered his junior. I've learned a lot from him, and I wish him a speedy recovery."
