Taiwanese actress Alyssa Chia and her husband, Taiwanese actor Xiu Jie Kai are active social media users and often share pictures of their daughter, nicknamed Bubu, who will turn 2 years old in August this year.
However, the couple have refrained from sharing pictures of their youngest daughter, nicknamed Bobo, who was born three months ago (March 15).
Recently, reports have popped up, alleging that the couple were initially hoping for variety and entertainment programmes to invite Alyssa and Bobo onto their show, as Bubu had skyrocketed in popularity after appearing on the reality show, Super Mom, when she was only 5 months old.
At that time, Bubu had been dubbed the “Youngest Internet Celebrity”, with various brands and sponsors rushing in to get the baby girl as their endorsement model. Thus, Alyssa and Jie Kai reportedly wished to repeat the feat with their youngest daughter, Bobo, only to receive no offers from television producers.
Thus, the couple eventually released a picture of Bobo three months after her birth, together with the hampers celebrating her 100th day, that were sent out to friends and family.
However, Alyssa refuted the reports, clarifying that they have never planned for Bobo to take part in any reality shows, and that as their daughter was still young, even if they were to take part in a show in the future, they will still make sure to consider if filming will affect their child, before agreeing to anything.
Alyssa and Jiekai welcomed their first child, Bubu, in 2015, and their second child, Bobo in 2017. Alyssa was previously married to Sun Zihao with whom she had her first daughter, Angelina.
