Aloysius Pang’s Wake: Stars And Singaporeans Say Their Final Tearful Goodbyes To The Actor

This was not the post-reservist reunion with Aloysius Pang anyone had expected. But an awful, awful tragedy happened and instead of hello, it was goodbye they had to say to the 28-year-old.

The late actor’s body arrived at 82A MacPherson Lane, a multi-purpose area that’s now barricaded from the public, last night (Jan 25) at 9.20pm. His pal Xu Bin and Quan Yifeng, who had been waiting at the location, sobbed uncontrollably as Aloy’s casket was carried past them. Xu Bin, along with fellow NoonTalk Media artistes Kimberly Chia and Zong Zijie, were said to have kept vigil at the wake all night.

Hundreds of onlookers, some of whom were seen weeping openly, had also gathered outside the wake even though the public memorial wasn’t due to start till noon today (Jan 26). It showed that the grief surrounding Aloy’s tragic passing was felt by even those who never knew him personally.
