Alleged Texts From A Zhejiang TV Staff About Godfrey Gao’s Death Angers Netizens
Awful. Just Awful.
Ever since the tragic death of Godfrey Gao last week (Nov 27), Chinese broadcaster Zhejiang TV, which produces Catch Me, the variety show which Godfrey collapsed on before he died of cardiac arrest, has come under intense criticism for a myriad of reasons, like their refusal to cancel Chase Me, their lack of safety practices on their shows, and their insincerity in giving Godfrey a dignified send-off.
But if you think the company’s rep can’t get any worse, you’re wrong.
Yesterday (Dec 2), which was the same day that Godfrey’s body was brought back to Taiwan, screenshots of alleged texts sent by a Zhejiang TV staff to a friend about Godfrey’s death were posted online.
