Alan Wan Says He Was Fired From His First Job At TVB Because People Complained About His “Sexy” Clothes

When Chinese-American actor and former Mr. Hongkong contestant Alan Wan left TVB late last year, he did what seems to be the “in” thing among celebrities these days: he started his own YouTube channel.

In his first video, which was uploaded about four months ago, he looked back on his decade-long career with the broadcaster and thanked them for all the numerous opportunities they gave him, all the while squatting in front of what looks like an HDB block here in Singapore, where he is currently based.

The 33-year-old also claimed he was fired from his first job with them as a weatherman because… “I was apparently too sexy, I guess?”
