In a bid to flatten the curve on COVID-19, Taiwan announced last Friday (April 3) that it is compulsory to wear a face mask while riding on buses and trains, with a maximum fine of NT$15,000 (S$700) for anyone caught not doing so. 

Despite the hefty penalty, there are still, as always, stubborn people who insist on not wearing masks while commuting on public transport, just like this lady:
