The 2019 Hito Music Awards is set to be held at the Taipei Arena on June 2. An event was held to promote the upcoming ceremony on April 14, with Most Popular Male Singer nominee Aaron Yan and Most Popular New Artist BCW in attendance.

After performing his song 'Dear Monster' at the event, Aaron shared that he was very happy to be nominated. "The Hito Music Awards is very popular with young people, so I am honoured to be recognised and will continue to work hard," he said, adding that the most important thing for him is to be thankful for the support of his fans.

The singer then admitted that he was very nervous about meeting BCW for the first time before the event, and asked other people about him. "As it turned out, he is a great guy!" he gushed.

Similarly, BCW was worried about being awkward around Aaron, but he soon learned that the latter is a very dedicated and professional singer. "His real personality is completely different from the image that I've seen in the media," shared the rapper.
