Aaron Kwok marries model girlfriend

A few weeks ago, rumours were swirling that Hong Kong actor-singer Aaron Kwok was going to marry his model girlfriend Moka Fang.

Earlier today, Hong Kong media reported that the 51-year-old was going to hold a hush-hush wedding ceremony, inviting only family and close friends from the industry such as Julian Cheung, Chingmy Yau and her husband Sham Kar Wai.

Today (April 18) at 6.30pm, photos of Aaron dressed in a tuxedo and bowtie were released, confirming the rumours and reports. According to Hong Kong media, the couple completed their wedding ceremony in a hotel this morning. Aaron also shared photos of his wedding ceremony, including one with his groomsmen Julian Cheung, Sunny Wong and Chingmy Yau’s husband.

A wedding dinner will be held at The Peninsula Hong Kong later this evening and is said to be a 10-table affair. Eyewitnesses shared that the wedding venue is decorated in an estimated 1,000 pink roses, with two main tables decked in red tablecloths. Security at the venue was tight and reporters who were present were restricted from taking photos.

Aaron first announced his relationship with his 23-years younger girlfriend on Weibo in 2015, but decided to keep his love life low-profile after he received negative responses from fans. They were spotted together in public more frequently in the days leading up to their wedding.
