It is safe to say that Chinese talent reality show Sisters Who Make Waves is one of the hottest shows in China right now. Every move the 30 over 30 female contestants make becomes news and you can’t go a week without reading some sort of goss or scandal about the show.

So it's no surprise that the Sisters have seen a boost in their careers ever since the show started airing in June. Even the show’s oldest and most controversial contestant, Taiwanese singer Annie Yi, who was soundly criticised for her insensitive remarks about late Cantopop diva Anita Mui and, as a result, allegedly blacklisted by the reality show's producers, has seen her popularity surge.
