Ya Hui Was Stalked By Two Men When She Was Filming A Quest To Heal In China

Back in November last year, the cast and crew of A Quest to Heal jetted off to Hengdian — aka the Hollywood of China — to shoot the Ming Dynasty scenes of the upcoming Mediacorp time travel drama. But little did Ya Hui know that she would be caught in a real-life action scene of her own.

The 33-year-old actress told 8days.sg when we met her on the Hengdian set one frosty December morning that it all started when she and her bestie Chen Liping were out shopping and had parted ways for a brief moment. Liping, who is not part of the cast but had made a pitstop in Hengdian to pay everyone a visit while en route to Shanghai, was browsing for socks while Ya Hui was taking photos of a “Transformers panda mascot”.
