Wang Weiliang's English Name Is Gordon, Says He's Okay To Be Called "Oi" Too

Speaking of English, when it was assumed that Weiliang will never have an English name, Tosh immediately got excited.

“He got English name! You all don’t know only (sic)” Tosh exclaimed, only for Weiliang to shoot him down. "It's my question [to answer] hor," he said.

But anyway, Weiliang has “quite a few” English names, and his “favourite" is, wait for it... Gordon.

“I did try a few Christian names, but they don’t fit me very well,” he said, before adding: “With my face ah, I thought: ‘William, can. David, can. Steven, can’. 'Oi' also okay.”

Tosh also suggested the name “Ezekiel" for Weiliang. But Gordon is still the name that Weiliang prefers the most, since his first reaction upon hearing the name Ezekiel was ‘Wah, so cheem ah?’.

Similarly, Tosh also dropped a bombshell during the interview, revealing that he had a girlfriend. The assumption was that he's attached and Tosh's first response was to make an off-colour joke, which we won't repeat here.

But after further probing from Weiliang (thankyouverymuch), he admitted that yes, he is attached though he declined to share more about his relationship.

One thing Tosh did reveal though was that he really was “nearly homeless”.

“During my poly[technic] days, I was very mischievous,” he said, adding that he was rarely home. It eventually resulted in Tosh's mum literally throwing him a bag of clothes, and telling him to "not come back, since you don’t like to come home”.
