Readers of a certain vintage will definitely know Hong Guorui. But the 63-year-old veteran actor, who was one of Singapore TV's most recognisable faces in the '80s, laughs it off (his exact words: "Okay only, lah") when we say that to him on the set of upcoming Mediacorp drama, Mind Jumper. Guorui plays a retired policeman who joins a private investigating company in the detective show, which also stars Joanne Peh and James Seah.
