Who she thinks will win: Tyler Ten

“I just went for the full dress rehearsal for the finals and I think all of them are shining already! [They are] So different from the past batches. They’re so blessed to have the right grooming team.

I’m rooting for Tyler because of his looks. (Laughs) But I think it’s going to be a tough fight between the female contestants because they are all unique individuals — seven of them are very different. That said, I’ll need to see their acting during the finals first, because no matter what, that's more important than good looks at the end of the day.”

Who she thinks will win: A male finalist

“Frankly, it seems like a tough fight. Juin Teh and Herman Keh both caught my eye with their improvisations during the semi-finals. Teoh Zetong was pretty stable in his performances and is appealing, while Zane Lim, Tyler Ten, and Zhai Si Ming are all extremely charming in their own ways.

The ladies are charismatic too. I acted with Chang Hio Cheng for her screen debut clip. She is also quick on her toes, has a good command of language, and is hardworking, sincere, and pretty. But like all competitions, it is really up to their live performances at the finals. Anyone could be the dark horse, so it’s really hard to say who has the best chance of winning, but I have a feeling it might be a guy.”

Who he thinks will win: Juin Teh

“I haven’t really been following the competition because I’ve been busy filming Ti Tou Dao in Malaysia, but when I shot my screen debut episode with Juin, I found out that she is actually quite experienced and it felt like I was working with a colleague instead of a newcomer. She definitely has an edge over the other contestants and I think she stands a good chance of winning.”

Who she thinks will win: Vanessa Ho

“Herman Keh, Teoh Zetong, Chang Hio Cheng, and Vanessa Ho are my favourites. I’m just being biased towards Herman because he and I were paired up for his screen debut clip. (Laughs) As for the other three, I feel that they just have that X-factor that is calling me to watch them.

I think the girls have a stronger chance of winning this year, and if I had to pick the champion, I would go for Vanessa.”

Who he thinks will win: Jernelle Oh

“This question is hard leh! (Laughs) But if I had to pick one contestant to support, it would be Jernelle. I’m just biased because I acted with her in her screen debut clip. It felt like she had prior acting experience and she was also very eager to learn too.”

Who he thinks will win: Tyler Ten or Teoh Zetong

“I haven't really seen all their performances yet other than the team that I'll be performing with during the finals. However, I do think that Tyler and Zetong stand out in terms of overall apearance. For the girls, Chang Hio Cheng’s performance has captured my attention while I think Ye Jiayun has the X-factor.”

Who he thinks will win: Tyler Ten or Teoh Zetong

“Based on their overall appearance right now, I would say that Tyler and Zetong stand a chance to be in the top three. The vibe they give off tells me that they are able to carry lead roles. In fact, after watching the semis, I feel like they have the right attitude to succeed. They just have to work on their pronunciation.” 

Who she thinks will win: Sheryl Ang

“Wow, this is tough. (Laughs) But I do feel that the winner would be Sheryl. It’s really difficult to choose because they all have their strengths! I picked Sheryl because of her modelling background and her height! I can see that she has experience in front of the camera too. Plus, she has the same surname as I do! (Laughs)"

Who she thinks will win: Teoh Zetong

“I think Zetong has a high chance of winning as he has the qualities of an up-and-coming star. He just needs more training and grooming 'cos he already has the height and looks.”
