In 2015, Sheila Sim took on fire, wood, earth, metal and water in our Chinese New Year shoot and she made it look elementary. We had asked the then-single star what she would say when relatives ask her annoying questions like “When are you getting married?” during CNY. Her reply? “I will still be polite. I won’t shoo them away, but I don’t like it. But I won’t tell them I don’t like it. I see them once a year… so I’ll just keep quiet and deal with it, and give them the kind of [fake] ‘champagne laugh’, and say things like ‘No lah, must wait for fate what. Fate is not here yet.’” We guess newly-engaged Sheila's answer this year is going to be very different.
