On Tuesday (Sep 15), the Chens spent three days and two nights chillaxing and getting some vitamin sea at the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.
Insta-active Xiang Yun happily showed off photos of their Sentosa adventure along with pics of their digs — two luxurious open-concept interconnecting suites. The cost of the rooms? $610 a night per suite, according to Sofitel’s website. This adds up to a total of $2,440 for their entire stay.

“Who knew Singapore had such a comfortable, elegant and lush resort. When I walked in, I couldn't help but admire it. It felt like traveling abroad,” wrote Xiang Yun, 56.
When 8days.sg spoke to the couple’s son, Yixi, he told us that one of the “highlights” of the mini getaway was when no one recognised or approached his family for photos.
“We took the shuttle bus along the beach and everywhere. And my parents finally got to see the whole area!” the actor gushed. “We usually can’t do it 'cos we’d get mobbed. As it was pretty quiet this time, we enjoyed it a lot.”
The family's cat Miwa
While netizens were glad to see the family taking time off from work to bond with each other, some were more curious about who's taking care of their four-month-old cat Miwa.
“One of the reasons we went on a staycay was because of Miwa. She likes attention and meows non-stop every night. We all lack sleep,” Yixi joked. “We handed her over to a friend for a few days lah.”
