"I hear so much about my smile, so I guess that has to be it. I have my dad to thank for insisting I put up with ugly braces for two whole years in secondary school. Before that, I looked like Dracula's baby girl when I smiled. I look upset or serious or fierce when I don't smile. Actually, I think my legs are quite nice too."

"[In secondary school], the teachers loved me for being an all-rounder, but I didn't have the people skills. Students hated me. I was too stressed about getting things done. I wasn't the most popular prefect around. [In JC], I wanted to help organise events. it wasn't about trying to outshine the other students in school. It was more of a natural progression, since I was head prefect in secondary school. I enjoy doing things, making things happen."
