It took five years for them to start dating, but things have been moving pretty quickly for the couple since then. Earlier this week, the Taiwanese host confirmed that his fiancée Gina Lin is five months pregnant with their first child, which means they were already parents-to-be when they got engaged in March. Congrats!

Here’s a new addition to the sweaty celeb selfie collection, although Rui En doesn’t look as drenched as some of the others on that list (maybe she was only halfway done with her workout?). Looking forward to seeing the results of her hard work!

Speaking of Rui En, did you know that her famously dedicated fan club RBKD is going to get its website included in the National Library’s Web Archive Singapore collection? According to an email that an RBKD rep shared with us, the National Library Board called the website “a valuable addition to [their] collection of websites reflecting various aspects of Singapore life and the building blocks of our community such as associations, businesses, and individuals”. Pretty cool, if you ask us.

We totally get it: You’re just casually scrolling through IG and you see a picture of someone posing with cakes and a candle, so your first instinct is to wish them a happy birthday. Unfortunately for poor Enlai, he wished Desmond happy birthday when it was actually Desmond’s fan club’s ninth anniversary instead, but the conversation that ensued had us in stitches so thanks for the laugh, Enlai!

In case you missed the news, Macau casino magnate Stanley Ho passed away earlier this week at the age of 98. So far, it appears that his youngest son Mario is the only one of his many children who has updated social media since then, posting this childhood photo with his brother and parents. No words were needed, though — just a simple crying emoji.

Nostalgia alert! Someone managed to dig up an old photo of Michelle Chong, Sharon Au, and former actress-host Ng Hui that was taken on what appears to be the set of variety show Star Choice. It’s been a while since Ng Hui’s been on screen (she left Mediacorp in 2012) but Michelle and Sharon certainly don’t look like they’ve aged a day.

Looks like a lot of folks have been digging through old pictures lately. Meet a young, long-haired Xiang Yun from two decades ago. According to her caption, her daughter Chen Yixin couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow! Mummy is so beautiful,” to which Xiang Yun replied, “All mothers exchange their youth for their children’s growth.”

Well, for what it’s worth, we think Xiang Yun, 58, still looks fabulous for her age.

Phase 1 of the Safe Re-opening period begins in just two days, but here is Tigger to remind everyone that we’re all still supposed to be staying home (there are still a lot of restrictions in place, anyway).

The more people adhere to safe distancing guidelines, the less new COVID-19 cases we’ll have, and the sooner life can start going back to relative normalcy (a.k.a. You can meet your friends and sweetheart) again, so please, don’t sabo okay.
