While Shane Pow has remained silent since news broke that Mediacorp has decided to part ways with him following his second drink driving charge, his famous pals have rallied around him.

First there was Mark Lee, who expressed interest in signing Shane to his entertainment company, King Kong Media Productions, adding that "everyone deserves a second chance".

Then, when it was announced that James Seah would be replacing Shane in upcoming long-form drama The Heartland Hero, both the executive producer of the show and James, had nothing but nice things to say about the actor.

And now, Elvin Ng has taken to his Instagram to pen a sweet message to Shane, after filming their last scene together for The Heartland Hero.

According to Elvin, their last scene together was a “sweet and emotional scene”, something that the 40-year-old found “apt”.

“You've been a pleasure to work with for everyone on set.” Elvin wrote. He went on to praise Shane for being "one of the easiest actors to work with, relaxed, adaptable, and flexible, always light and in good cheer, no airs, with good humour and favour, well-liked and a joy to be around”.

"Put simply, a super good and nice guy,” said Elvin.
