Chen Hanwei is one of the most respected actors in Singapore. His versatility and commitment to his craft has seen him take on a whole spectrum of roles. One of the most iconic characters he’s portrayed in his three-decade-long career is 1995 Morning Express’ Fang Lao Shi, which earned him the Most Popular Male Artiste award, his first Star Award after seven years in the biz.
What happened following his big win wasn't rosy as everyone would have thought, as Hanwei revealed on a recent episode of Quan Yifeng's Hear U Out. The overwhelming amount of support he gained within a short period of time, he felt, came too fast and too soon.
