Carina Lau Doesn’t Think You Need Good Looks To Be A Star

Carina Lau needs no introduction. After over three decades in the industry, she’s still going strong, with a plethora of film credits and awards to her name.

Today (Nov 3), however, she has a different task on hand. Along with Simon Yam and Stephen Fung, she’s one of the three judges for the Star Search 2019 Grand Finals, and she has an integral part to play in picking Mediacorp’s Next Big Thing.

But before she took to the judging panel, she took some time out to speak to 8days.sg in a radio interview, where she shed some light on her early days in showbiz.
