What if with a little effort (okay, maybe make that a medium-sized effort), you can elevate your morning java into something special and add a dash of superfood ingredients into your day? Nespresso is sharing coffee recipes with a modern twist to Chinese New Year festive traditions, concocted by three influencers, Singapore's Bella Koh (aka @catslavery on social media) with her Mushroom Latte with Date Syrup and Gold Leaf, Hong Kong's Jeff Law with his Red Velvet Coffee and Longan Coffee by Lulu Wei from Taiwan. Sounds yums? 

If your Nespresso moment consists of sleepily plonking your cup under your machine nozzle, popping the capsule in, pressing the button, then guzzling your golden liquid, let's just say trying out these recipes may require a little more effort than what you're used to. Like any good dish or brew, expect a few ingredients that call for some prep work. The good news is that once you have the ingredients, making the coffee doesn't require much skill, although if you want things to look good, some practice and care are needed. And if you're too lazy to make your own mushroom, red velvet or longan coffee, you can try them in all Nespresso boutiques in Singapore for a limited time — Red Velvet Coffee is being served on Jan 26 & 27, while Longan Coffee will be available Feb 2 & 3. The mushroom latte was served earlier this week.
