These are four hotels in Singapore to check into for some luxurious pampering. Oh, and you’ll get to join Fido at these pet-friendly getaways too.
Furry guests are guaranteed five-star luxury treatment with the hotel’s pet staycation package. Your pooch gets a PuppyPack, which comprises a pet bed, a luxe towel from luxury pet boutique Woofer & Purrlensky, food and water bowls, and — wait for it — a special in-room pet menu. For picky eaters, customised meals are also available. Room service for your four-legged pals? Talk about creature comforts. Grooming accessories like handmade soaps are also available at an additional charge. To top it all off, the hotel supplies a dog-walking map, so set aside some time for a jaunt around town or the nearby Botanic Gardens.
Pets weighing less than 10kg. (Sorry, golden retrievers and labradors and other, er, big-boned pooches.)
1 Cuscaden Road. Room rates from $323++. For more info, go to http://www.regenthotels.com/regent-singapore.
Schlep away to a purr-fect island escape in Sentosa. Your Best Fur-iend Fur-ever will have a field day traipsing around the vast open spaces at Capella. Or venture out and let your doggo frolick at Palawan Beach (directly accessible from the hotel) while you take a swig of sangria at FOC Sentosa.
Celebrating your pet's birthday?
Paw-ty it up in Capella — the hotel arranges for a birthday cake and even a bed with your pooch’s name embroidered on if you ask really nicely. Is Spot feeling peckish? There’s an array of doggie snacks that you can order.
Fur who? Small- to medium-sized pets weighing no more than 7kg. Besides dogs and cats, guinea pigs and bunnies have previously checked in here too.
1 The Knolls, Sentosa Island. Room rates from $544++. For more info, go to www.capellasingapore.com.
[Update: As of Aug 17, 2018, Hilton Singapore only accepts service animals, such as guide dogs.]
If you want to be right smack in the middle of town and take your pooch along, check in here. Forgot to pack your furkid’s food (there are no pet amenities provided) and need to head out to get some? You’ll get a “Pet In Room” sign to hang at the door when leaving your furry friend unattended in the room. There’s an additional charge of $50 for guest rooms and $100 for suites for pets.
581 Orchard Road. Room rates from $290++. For more info, go to http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/singapore/hilton-singapore-SINHITW/index.html.
Four Seasons Hotel Singapore
A paw-somely luxurious time here isn’t complete without the pet bed, pet bowl and bottled water, courtesy of the hotel. And, if you give advance notice, they’ll throw in a towel with Scooby’s name embroidered on it too. There’s a one-time charge of $100 if you’re checking in with a pet. They also have to be accompanied by a guest during housekeeping. Got a packed schedule? Arrange for a suitable timing for housekeeping to service the room with the hotel beforehand.
Fur who? Pets 7kg and lighter.
190 Orchard Boulevard. Room rates from $439++. For more info, go to http://www.fourseasons.com/singapore.
*Pets have to be on leash in public areas of all the abovementioned hotels.
