We Tested Out An Anti-Slash Bag To See If It Really Keeps Things Safe From Pickpockets — Anti-Theft Travel Backpack Review

When it comes to travelling, safety should be as important — if not more crucial — than itinerary planning. Sure, you want to soak in the sights and sounds but keeping you and your stuff safe should take priority too.
That’s why when we came across this anti-theft backpack, which is purportedly made out of a cut-resistant material, we knew we had to try slashing it ourselves to see if it lived up to its claims.

Is this bag really slash proof? See the 8days slash test:
The slash test and the results: We pitted the Metodo slash-proof backpack against a regular nylon backpack and a canvas backpack, and tried cutting them with penknives.
Of the three, the nylon bag came apart like butter. The hardier, thicker canvas backpack took a few tries more force with the sharpest penknife to tear apart.
The Metodo anti-slash backpack never succumbed to any of the penknives (and trust us, we really tried). Even after slashing the bag at least 10 times with each tool, the bag came away unscathed, with merely a few light scratches on the material that are hardly noticeable. In short, yes, it lives up to its claims.
