What does one wear to submit a petition to the UN? In actress-host Kate Pang’s case, it was a white turtle-neck sweater worn under a black “I Am Forever Against Animal Testing” T-shirt and grey slacks. Suitably serious and no-nonsense, not too glam ’cos you know, petitioning, and tough enough in case one needs to kick an animal abuser in the butt.

The Body Shop and Cruelty Free International, along with Kate Pang, Maggie Q and other reps from all over the world, brought 8.3 million signatures to the UN Headquarters in New York City to create a global framework to end animal testing globally.

We checked in with Kate to find out why she feels so strongly about animal testing, and to get some travel beauty tips.
