High bounce rate, anyone? John Frieda’s new range gives fine hair the strength it needs for natural-looking and long-lasting volume via volumising polymers and pearlising emollient. The Protein Volumiser ($19.90) promises twice the volume. Woohoo!

This new range promises to get you dandruff-free in four weeks with its not-so-secret ingredient, anti-bacterial tea tree oil. The silicone-free products naturally eliminate dandruff while nourishing the scalp and hair.

Besides looking minimalist-cool, Innisfree’s My Hair Recipe line boasts silicone-free formulas and products designed to tackle concerns such as oily scalps, dry hair and coloured hair. As always, expect natural ingredients from Jeju, tasked to bring health and happiness to your mane.

The one that will make you Google “silicone-free shampoo”
In case you haven’t noticed, silicone-free (count how many times it appears in this story) is the buzzword when it comes to shampoo these days. Silicone oils, commonly found in shampoos, can cause oily scalps in the long term. It also weighs hair down, making it appear thinner. Japanese haircare brand Syoss is all about being silicone-free, and promises to restore your locks to their natural bouncy glory.
