17 Things We’re Dying To Try From Sephora's Fall 2018 Launch

What it is: The sure-to-sell-out palette from the beauty influencer whose stuff always sells out. Huda Beauty, the make-up line from Huda Kattan (whose @hudabeauty IG is the most followed beauty account in the world with 20 million followers) finally lands in Singapore, with a comprehensive range of make-up, including this gorge palette inspired by the colours of the Middle East. Think vivid dessert landscape shades, shadows on the sands, and dramatic sunsets, captured in 18 shades.

What it is: The haircare brand for jet-setting millennials' latest is this baby that speeds up air-drying by up to 46 per cent. They want to replace your hairdryer, which causes frizz and damage, and allow your hair to dry much faster by itself. Does it work? Yes. We tried it, and it does make our hair dry way faster, into the natural and textured look that's currently uber-popular. Prefer to blow-dry? It speed up blow-drying time, too.

What it is: Promises to prevent dreaded hormonal breakouts linked to that time of the month. Consider us sold. Use this treatment moisturiser every night for two weeks before your period to banish those dreaded period pimples, or in the run up to a stressful big event (hello, brides to be!). Allies of Skin is a homegrown brand founded by a Singaporean, and uses potent antioxidants, probiotics and nutrients which supercharge the skin’s ability to correct itself.

What it is: Maison Margiela's cult fragrances aren't so much perfumes, but replicas of memories, moments and familiar scents, if you buy into the hype. Which you will. The very popular Lazy Sunday Morning is all freshly-washed bed linen, soft skin and sunshine-y florals.

What it is: One of the most highly-anticipated launches this year, Tatcha is a cult brand founded in 2009 by Victoria Tsai which melds Japanese geisha rituals with modern beauty. Inspired by a modern-day geisha in Kyoto and a 200-year old beauty manuscript from the Edo period, expect amazing ritualistic packaging, high-tech skincare science and superfood ingredients. Each full-size skincare purchase also funds a day of school in partnership with Room to Read’s Girls’ Education program, which benefits girls in Asia and Africa. The Violet-C Radiance Mask is packed with seven anti-ageing and brightening fruits, as well as Vitamin C and antioxidant-rich Japanese Beautyberry, to unveil bright, radiant skin. P/S: The mask is a beautiful shade of pastel purple. Sold?

What it is: Pretty Vulgar is a new-in-SG make-up brand that is inspired by "the colorful diversity of pretty birdies all around us" and a vintage aesthetic. How pretty is the packaging for this volumnising and lengthening mascara?

What it is: Sunday Riley isn't just the name of this cult, highly-anticipated, new-in-SG brand, it's also the name of its founder. Cool, right? Sunday Riley (the brand and the founder) believes in green technology, using advanced active and purified botanicals to transform skin, with a system of skincare designed to visibly improve skin quality. One of the most popular products is Good Genes, an all-in-one Lactic Acid treatment is formulated with high potency lactic acid that exfoliates skin, banishes hyperpigmentation and plumps things up.

What it is: We'll have what Miranda Kerr is having, please. The Aussie supermodel's skincare brand, which she launched in Australia in 2009, is based on all things organic, natural and healing, yet concentrated and active, with ingredients such as Noni Extract, Rosehip Oil and Sea Buckthorn Oil. The Noni Radiant Eye Oil apparently makes Miranda look like she had a full eight hours of sleep, even when she hasn't. We tried it and love the cooling rose quartz roller ball applicator, and the formula which is non-greasy and absorbs quickly. Will banish puffy eyes due to lack of sleep or a night of crying while watching Queer Eye.

What it is: One of our fave CC Creams has gone matte, with a brand new formulation specially designed for the climate in Southeast Asia. It's now infused with charcoal, tea tree extract, colloidal
clay and Moroccan lava clay, along with oil-absorbing and pore-minimising technology and an advanced anti-ageing serum. And of course, that amazing IT Cosmetics coverage. What's not to love?

This mist is infused with a blend of amino acids to hydrate hair before styling and banish colour fade. It's great for that prep before you do crazy things to your locks. Love.

What it is: Your fave Acqua di Parma fragrances now come in handy, super-cute 20ml bottles, retailing exclusively available at Sephora outlets. Our fave Colonia and Rosa Nobile scents included, yay. We're tucking a bottle into our make-up pouch wherever we go.

What it is: The German make-up brand with the high colour payoffs and amazing minimalist packaging (hello, paper palettes, hello, no plastic) with amazingly affordable prices launches a collection inspired by the screen sirens of yore. Create your own old-school Hollywood glam with this palette, replete with shimmery rose golds. pinks and peaches along with glam silver and blue.

What it is: The brand whose products fly off shelves has dropped another tonic to rival its now-iconic Glow Tonic. The Rose Tonic is a nourishing toner which softens, balances and tones skin while rehydrating and refreshing.

What it is: Is it just us, or is it coconut everything these days? The tropical feelgood fruit is having a beauty moment, and Kopari, a coconut-powered lifestyle-beauty brand from the US is here to bring the superfood glow.
