This Week’s Best-Dressed Local Stars: May 2-9
The most stylish celeb OOTDs of the week.

Lately, dressing up and staying home have become the norm for stars like Sonia Chew and Yasminne Cheng, who were spotted in a gala-worthy getup and paddle pop-like jacket respectively. As for others like Amanda Chaang and Fiona Xie, let's just say less is more.

Fiona Xie
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from Fiona’s Instagram this week, it’s got to be that clothes are too mainstream. The star bared it all and covered her body with beautiful blooms for a series of breathtaking shots. There’s also one where she wore a magnificent flower headdress.

Michelle Wong
Professional on top and sporty from waist down. That’s how functional Michelle’s outfit is. We’d recommend this to the fitness lovers among us; just wear a sports bra underneath the jacket and jump right into your workout after you’re done with Zoom meetings all day.

Chantelle Ng
If you’re all for wearing pyjamas for your virtual meetings, we’d suggest picking a set that’s similar to Chantelle’s two-piece here. The pieces can be worn together or separate, and if you want to look more professional, simply layer a blazer and consider it sorted.

Rebecca Lim
Becks’ tennis inspired outfit by Polo Ralph Lauren looks sporty and stylish. Her midnight blue leather bag definitely added a luxurious touch to her OOTD shot.

Yasminne Cheng
Need something to brighten your day? Try on a colourful jacket; Yasminne’s denim jacket comes with paddle pop-like faux fur, giving us a major mood-lifting effect.

Tay Kewei
We’re guessing it won’t be long before we see Kewei’s kid #2. But for now, the stylish mama continues to update her Instagram with fabulous OOTDs. This two-piece combo defines her figure and hugs her curves in the most beautiful manner possible. We’re envious!

Fiona Fussi
Besides the pastel blues and purple that give off a calming effect in this OOTD, we’re really loving Fiona’s stylish suit. Its faded check prints give off youthful vibes that are unlike the usual women’s suits we’ve seen.

Sonia Chew
Was it date night at home? Sonia was all dressed up in this party-ready black see-through floor-sweeping dress and white knee-high boots, and she looked stunning.

Chen Xiuhuan
The T-shirt and jeans combo never gets old but if you want something more playful looking, try pairing your high waisted jeans with a one-shoulder top. Xiuhuan’s bright turquoise option looks vibrant and is sure to capture onlookers’ attention immediately.

Amanda Chaang
Staying home is about wearing whatever that makes you happy. Amanda picked a string of pearls and bodysuit for a pin-up girl look that screamed bombshell. We think it looks really comfy to be worn on those stay in bed days too.

Andrew Lua
Guys, if wearing T-shirt and jeans look too sloppy for you, consider layering a jacket to pull the whole look together. For something more casual, go for Andrew’s hoodie jacket here.

Sharon Au
Sharon’s pantsuit features a straight cut that we absolutely adore because it’s slouchier than slim suits, offering a more timeless silhouette that’s worth investing in. Bookmarking this look for the office after the pandemic.

Simone Heng
Simone received this gorgeous Helmut Lang dress as a birthday present and couldn't wait to show it off. We don't blame her. The gown, which "has one leg missing like an Angelina Cowboy effect", is chic yet sultry, and fits her like a glove. It's definitely a timeless piece to have in every woman’s wardrobe.

Jacelyn Tay
Not everybody dresses down while working from home. Jacelyn was spotted in full on professional mode this week. We especially love that she added a pair of statement earrings to her look, making her OOTD both professional and playful.

Aimee Cheng Bradshaw
Aimee channelled laidback chic in this stay-home outfit this week. Mum jeans aren’t easy to pull off but the model wore it effortlessly with slipper heels, cropped top and shoulder bag.

Vanessa Ho
Thanks to the Disney X Aldo launch, Vanessa was super happy to have the chance to live her Cinderella dream by donning the heels and bag from the collection. She certainly looks like a modern day princess!

Kimberly Chia
A sleeveless dress is your best bet to cope with Singapore’s perennial heatwave. Kimberly’s striped version here features a low cut front and short hemline, offering the wearer a chance to show off her figure.

Cheryl Wee
Cheryl’s sleeveless dress here is every minimalist dresser’s dream come true. Its relaxed silhouette makes moving around easy. Wear a pair of asymmetric earrings to spruce up the look for Zoom parties or meetings.

Bonnie Loo
Bonnie’s striking red trousers are a great way to stand out from the crowd. She’d even gone as far as wearing matching red eyeshadow; great effort, Bonnie!

You Yi
We love how You Yi kept her colour palette to a minimum for this office-ready look. Swap the nude heels with bold red alternatives to earn more style points for this outfit.

Tay Ying
Tay Ying decided to play dress up at home and opted for this cute look. The ruffled hems on her off-shoulder top make her casual chic outfit a lot more feminine.

Hayley Woo
Stripes seem to be a favourite among the celebrities this week. Hayley chose a striped strappy top and matched it with short denim shorts to stay comfy at home.
