This Week’s Best-Dressed Local Stars: Jul 25-Aug 1
The most stylish celeb OOTDs of the week.

From bold colours to feminine florals, Kimberly Wang, Sharon Au and Ya Hui led the way for quintessential summer dressing. At the guys department, Elvin Ng and Qi Yuwu showed us how men can always spruce up an outfit with blazers and jackets.

Jeanette Aw
Colours, prints and patterns all joined forces in Jeanette’s outfit here. We’ll admit that it’s a pretty chaotic looking ensemble, but hey, if you’re as stylish as Jeanette, you’ll have no problems in pulling it off.

Elvin Ng
A pinstriped suit is undeniably one of the most classic must-haves in any stylish man’s wardrobe. Don’t believe us? Just check out how suave Elvin looked here. For less formal occasions, ditch the shirt and tie for a basic white T-shirt.

Aisyah Aziz
If wearing your blazer the usual way is too mainstream for you, why not try out Aisyah’s trick — wear the blazer backwards. The effect: A turtle neck-like design on the front and a bare-it-all design on the back.

Ya Hui
Not only are we in love with Ya Hui’s newly bleached tresses, we also can’t take our eyes of her halter tier dress by LIE. The multicolour brush strokes on the pleated number go well with Ya Hui’s pink hair, showing off her bubbly personality.

Benjamin Tan
Fashion lovers will be quick to spot Burberry’s classic and super iconic checks on Benjamin’s shirt here. It’s definitely giving us major '90s nostalgia.

Sharon Au
Dressed in a summer-appropriate floral embellished dress, Sharon flaunted her new hairdo — which coincidentally looked similar to Jeanette’s hairstyle in the poster above. We’re guessing: Great minds think alike.

Jeremy Chan
Lookin’ good, Jeremy! And we’re not the only ones who think so. The actor has been growing out his mustache and goatee and clearly his efforts are showing results. This OOTD (which coincidentally matches his surroundings) garnered compliments like “so man” and “very handsome”.

Sonia Chew
Sonia’s two-piece look here is great for those of us who don’t wish to show off too much skin by the pool. Plus, the high waist pants are must-haves if you want to make your legs look longer than they are.

Qi Yuwu
We’re guessing Yuwu had a tough time deciding which outerwear to go for — the denim jacket or black blazer? The actor picked both and wore them over a black T-shirt and jeans combo, and still managed to look slim and cool.

Julie Tan
With some hotels opening up for staycays now, Julie checked herself into Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa for some rest and relaxation. Her choice of outfit, comprising of a wide brim straw hat, shirt dress and a singlet top, reflects her OOF mood.

Ferlyn Wong
If Ferlyn was going for the stylish doctor look, she’d definitely nailed it in this OOTD. The floral prints on her blouse and colourful prints on her pleated skirt provide a cheery mood — a contrast to the plain lab coat and serious look on her face.

Kimberly Wang
Cute corgi aside, we’re in love with what Kimberly wore to the beach over the weekend. The printed bikini top and denim shorts make a comfy and stylish combo for an outdoors kind of day.

Simone Heng
For a LBD that can transit smoothly from boardrooms to bars, consider this one-shoulder number on Simone. Its clean lines mean it’s a keeper, ensuring that it never goes out of style for many years to come.

Desmond Tan
Decked out in an orange tracksuit by Onitsuka Tiger, Desmond looked like a kungfu star on set this week. Oh, and don’t you think there’s some Bruce Lee resemblance here too?

Xiang Yun
Xiang Yun showed us some red carpet glamour, donning a figure-skimming draped dress that spotlighted her curves beautifully. The fabric chain belt added interest to the goddess-like look, and provided a cinched waist effect at the same time.

Rebecca Lim
Becks showed us a simple style tip for the OLs — match the colour of your office blazer or top with your handbag, and wear it with black pants and stilettos for a failsafe 9-to-5 ensemble.

Chase Tan
One glance at Chase’s OOTD here and we’re immediately drawn to his short sleeve shirt. Its mishmash of prints that include ancient roman sculptures is definitely a conversation starter.

Hazelle Teo
If Hazelle’s outfit here could talk, it’d probably say: “Let’s hit the dancefloor!” Love the frilly details on the sleeves which would look fabulous when you’re shimmying.

Rachel Wan
An all-white outfit is a risky style move, especially at the beach. The sand, sea water and spills from your cocktail glass may cause stains. But that didn’t stop Rachel from picking this stylish and smart looking two-piece. The separates are great because they can also be easily matched with other pieces, giving you extra mileage.

Hossan Leong
The wonderful thing about colourful prints is that they can light up a wearer’s outfit. Case in point: Hossan who recently had his outfit tailor-made at A Gentleman’s Tale. He even went further to pick a pair of checked pants, and rocked the clashing look.

Tay Ying
Here’s a summer weekend outfit that you can easily pull together under 10 minutes. The bucket hat keeps flyaways in place, and the cropped top and short shorts keep your body comfortable and cool.
