What happens when three well-respected and iconic names in Japanese streetwear, whose own respective brands are cult hits in Japan and worldwide, are asked to re-imagine their favourite characters and images from the most loved sci-fi franchise in the world? Maybe a bit of magic and creative genius. From the too-cool minds of Jun Takahashi, of UNDERCOVER fame, Nigo, BAPE creator and creative director for Uniqlo's UT brand, and Tetsu Nishiyama of WTAPS and FPAR (FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS) come this edgy and unexpected collection which drops just before May the Fourth, also known as Star Wars Day, with some elements that many will find surprising.
