SingPost Launches New Uniforms For Postmen; Does Insta-Worthy Photo Shoot At Cool Locations Across Singapore
This is the first full redesign of the entire suite of postal uniforms since 2011.
Starting tomorrow (Oct 9), expect to see postmen in action in brand new uniforms. In conjunction with World Post Day, SingPost has launched new uniforms for over 1,000 uniformed staff members across the company, including parcel ambassadors of its courier arm, Speedpost.
Over 10 different garments ranging from shirts, outerwear, aprons to headgear, were designed to form six different uniform sets for various job roles, including postmen, Inspector of Post, parcel ambassadors, mail processing staff and more, in SingPost’s corporate colours of white, red and blue.
The new uniforms for postmen and postwomen feature bolder colours, and are designed to be breathable yet sturdy. There are ventilation flaps with inner mesh on the back, so our postmen and postwomen can deliver our letters and parcels in comfort, and remain cool and well-ventilated as they go about their work in our humid weather. The new uniforms also feature reflective strips for safety on the roads.
This is the first full redesign of the entire suite of postal uniforms since 2011. In December 2019, SingPost unveiled a new uniform for its frontline service staff across all 56 post offices and the Philatelic Stores.
To celebrate the fresh new look, SingPost released a series of photos featuring staff in their new uniforms shot in various cool locations in Singapore, and we think they look super hip. Inspo for your next IG photo shoot, maybe?
