With gyms and fitness studios still firmly shut (will they reopen come the end of Circuit Breaker on June 1?), Singapore has become a nation of joggers, cyclists and home fitness fiends, having had other options taken away. The thing about exercising alone at home is that it's hard to stay motivated — no gym buddies to get rah-rah with; no yoga pals to schlep to the studio with. So what's someone who's just trying to flatten, and not fatten, the curve during CB to do? What we've found has helped is finding some pals to exercise together with online (hello Zoom workouts!) or posting about your exercise regimen on social media to stay motivated and accountable (do like these celebs and post a few Swealfies! That's "sweaty selfies").

Either way, you'll need some nice workout gear — we defo feel happier and more motivated when we have proper activewear on, as opposed to that ratty tee and those shorts we've been wearing all day, and if you're working out with your pals on Zoom, consider it looking good together. And if you're posting your workout on your socials, let the Internet admire your cool workout gear and post-exercise glow — why not?

FYI, online demand for fitness gear and sports clothes has increased, so the thirst for new and cute exercise togs is real. Here are a few we like.
