How To Be More Beauty, Less Beast
Beauty and the Beast picks that Emma Watson would approve of.

Disney X Carrie K. Beauty and the Beast collection
This Belle has bite. We love that Carrie K's latest collab with Disney (she did one for the Alice in Wonderland film too) has nary a rose or even a candlestick in sight. Instead, the local jewellery designer went ever so slightly meta, and created a range of rings, earrings and necklaces inspired by the Beast's jagged teeth, which "speaks to the beauty and the beast in everyone", telling you to look beyond the surface to find the beauty within. Gotta appreciate a fashion collection that makes you think just a little. A percentage of profits from the sale of a special pearl charm, the Teeth White Pearl Bling Bar Charm, will go to the Singapore Committee for UN Women. See next slide for product close-ups.
From Carrie K. Atelier and Tangs Orchard. Limited edition pieces including ear climbers, pave ear jackets and the chunky cuffs will be available exclusively online at www.CarrieKRocks.com and the Carrie K. Atelier for pre-order from March 8.

Zara yellow dress with frilled sleeves, $69.90
Belle's iconic yellow ball gown is fab and all, but we just can't see ourselves pulling it off in a client meeting. This yellow beauty, on the other hand, is all kinds of work-to-party appropriate. Get it from www.zara.com/sg — the Spanish label recently launched its Singapore online store. (Note: This is not a Disney Beauty and the Beast collab.)

Skin Inc Beauty and the Beast Get Glowin' Kit, $169
Inspired by the timeless tale of Beauty and the Beast and the Enchanted Rose in a jar, local skincare brand Skin Inc wants to offer you the same timelessness for your skin — via a brightening serum that promises to brighten skin, improve tone and texture and boost overall radiance, in a golden concoction inspired by Belle's gown.
Skin Inc will donate $10 from the sale of every limited edition Beauty and the Beast Get Glowin’ kit to the Singapore Committee for UN Women. Available at Skin Inc concept stores, iloveskininc.com, Sephora stores, Sephora.sg and Zalora.sg.

Of course Uniqlo, with its Magic For All collab with Disney, has a Beauty and the Beast collection. And it’s simple, sweet and wearable, with romantic, almost boho prints on staples like tees, tunics, and long shirts. Some of the tees have matchy mother and daughter designs for easy princess twinning.
From Uniqlo stores.
