This Belle has bite. We love that Carrie K's latest collab with Disney (she did one for the Alice in Wonderland film too) has nary a rose or even a candlestick in sight. Instead, the local jewellery designer went ever so slightly meta, and created a range of rings, earrings and necklaces inspired by the Beast's jagged teeth, which "speaks to the beauty and the beast in everyone", telling you to look beyond the surface to find the beauty within. Gotta appreciate a fashion collection that makes you think just a little. And it’s simple, sweet and wearable, with romantic, almost boho prints on staples like tees, tunics, and long shirts. Again, no connection to the movie or the characters, but hello, intricate soaps that look like good-enough-to-eat tarts with rose-shaped frosting! This new-to-Singapore handcrafted shower and bath product brand has stuff that looks amazingly like macaroons, cupcakes, ice-cream and other delicious patisserie favourites. Try not to eat them.
