Love fashion? Come experience the exuberance of all things artistic and stylish in Fashion Visualised! – a special visual merchandising showcase at Raffles City Shopping Centre featuring the creative works of four chosen individuals, each with a unique story to tell.
Catch them in action on May 26, 3pm to 5pm. Head to Level 3 Atrium and watch the participants hard at work as they set up their backdrops and curate outfits on a sponsored budget of $1,000.
Photograph your favourite display from May 26 to June 7. View all four displays at Level 3 Atrium. Pose with your favourite showcase and hashtag #RCFashionVisualised in your Instagram post. The top post wins a GoPro HERO6, while five consolation winners receive $100 shopping vouchers each. Don’t forget to set your account to ‘Public’ and follow Raffles City’s Instagram page (@RafflesCitySG) to qualify. Contest deadline: June 7. Winners will be notified via Instagram by June 15.

Title: Bloom
Synopsis: Inspired by Jeff Koons giant sculptures of everyday objects, a mannequin sits in the heart of a translucent petal to portray the blossoming of the season, a woman’s secret allure and beauty of nature. Using a pastel colour palette, the stylist will also showcase this season’s runway trends of transparent fabrics and layering.

Title: A Summer To Remember
Synopsis: From iconic skyscrapers to an idyllic beach and snow-capped mountains, this vibrant showcase is a colourful illustration of fashion’s global influence in the summer.
Contestant: Jamela Law
Title: It’s A Jungle Out There
Synopsis: This surrealistic setting inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey, features a decorated arch (to represent a monolith) surrounded by curious monkeys – a metaphor between the vanguard of fashion and humanity. The contestant wants to portray the idea that style is gender neutral and that female strength is the new female empowerment.

Title: Red Alert - A.U.B Moment
Synopsis: In this this so-called Z generation, everyone should have their own A.U.B moment – Awaken, Unfold and Breakthrough. See it unfold in this impressive display where each structural detail bears meaning, like the coronary arteries for us to look into our hearts, mannequins in various emotional stages and positions, masks to remind us to reveal our true selves, plus crushed paper and books to represent the daily grind.
