Consider getting this as a small payback for all the plastic cups you've ever used to tapao your Starbucks drinks — from tomorrow (June 15), you can get your hands on a sustainably-produced collection of bags and merch, a collab between Starbucks and hipster bag brand Herschel Supply Co. The fabrics for the bags in the six-piece collection are made from 100 per cent recycled plastic and drinkware. Love the industrial-retro styling and the words "recycle" and "reuse" printed on the products.
The collection will launch exclusively together with the brand new Starbucks Flagship Store on LazMall ( https://www.lazada.sg/shop/starbucks) on at 12pm on June 15. You can also expect other summer-flavoured items like Frappuccino Cushions and a Starbucks Siren-inspired Bearista collection. (Hello mermaid bears — merbearistas?)
But if you're after the chio new summer drink, the Fantasy Tail Frappuccino, which features a pink chocolate mermaid tail sticking out of a pink drink speckled with glittery blue, you'll still have to head to your nearest Starbucks.
The Starbucks X Herschel Supply collection and other merch will also be available in-store at a later date.
