This Week’s Best-Dressed Local Stars: Sep 3-10

From Zoe Tay and and Edwin Goh’s chic get-ups to Phyllis Quek's beach babe look, here are the OOTDs that caught our eye this week.

Carrie Wong
Vacation style done right. During her trip to Khao Yai — yes, this is Thailand, not the Stonehenge — Carrie looked effortlessly chic in a Celine cropped top, wide leg pants and classic denim jacket. The Tod's purse completed the look.

Xu Bin
Look who's all ready for the Formula 1. Jokes aside, we think Xu Bin looks very shuai in this get-up.

Phyllis Quek
Phyllis is 50 and looking fabulous in her olive bikini.

Desmond Tan
From the structured shoulders to the cinched in waist, we love how form fitting the denim suit looks on Desmond. This double-breasted number is from Common Suits.

Joanne Peh
Joanne nailed tonal dressing, sporting a casual and chic white-on-white ensemble made up of a halter neck top and breezy pants.

Edwin Goh
We never thought we'd see Edwin in a cutout tank top, but here we are. We kinda dig the hot Latin dancer look.

Zoe Tay
Anyone getting CNY vibes from this look? We like how Zoe styled her monochromatic getup with a fiery red Louis Vuitton bag to make her outfit pop.

Tay Ying
Tay Ying was also spotted in white-on-white, looking matchy-matchy with Joanne. The starlet teamed her OOTD with a pastel Beyond The Vines bag to make her look more eye-catching.

Jeanette Aw
Sporting a fresh 'do, Jeanette looked fresh and fab in her off duty look of Prada denim dress and sneakers while holidaying in Japan.

Jamie Yeo
We know what we’ll be wearing for our next resort vacay. With its flashy prints and unapologetically loud colours, Jamie’s Simone Irani frock is one head-turning piece.

Elvin Ng
We love how Elvin isn’t afraid to take a dig at himself. The actor captioned this pic (he’s wearing Fendi, by the way) “bandung red”, referring to the infamous ombré suit he wore to the 2021 Star Awards.

Kate Pang
Kate kept things simple but sophisticated in a Seoul & Lux draped dress for her first hosting gig in Taiwan. Her statement earrings by APM Monaco added a touch of glam.

Sonia Chew
From the cropped top to the sheer shrug, Sonia's outfit screams "I am ready to party!" Doubt the paper clip on her waistband is supposed to be part of the look.

Tanya Chua
For a fashion magazine shoot, Tanya donned a half chic, half sporty Gucci ensemble. The clashing look sure left an impression!

Ya Hui
Business in front, party at the back. The deconstructed design turns the timeless piece from stylish to statement-making.

Ayden Sng
Ayden showed us how to look effortless in the time-tested double denim combo. Wish he’d opted for a less ripped pair of jeans to look less beng.

Denise Camillia Tan
Also in the mood for denim was Denise. She styled her denim jacket with a white top and leather-like skirt for a party-ready getup.

Sheryl Ang
Star Search 2019 finalist Sheryl looked weekend-ready in a fuss-free olive dress, layering it with a classic boyfriend shirt and chunky sandals.

Chen Xiuhuan
Also nailing tonal dressing this week was Xiuhuan. The actress reached for a matching lavender jumpsuit and blazer that look elegant and easy on the eyes.

Jaime Teo
The weather may be gloomy but there’s no stopping Jaime when it comes to dressing up. She let the busy and arresting prints on her plunging wrap dress express her happy mood.
